[BLANK] is an experimental game about uncertainty, created in 48 hours for Nordic Game Jam 2012 by Team Flying Noses. The player wakes in an unfamiliar environment with extremely limited vision and no memory of how they arrived there, gradually exploring the space and discovering objects that reveal fragments of what happened. The experience was designed around making the player share the protagonist’s uncertainty rather than focusing on conventional challenge or progression.
I worked on game design, animation and 3D modelling as part of the six-person team. The project was built in a beta version of Unity 3.5, which created some technical difficulties during the jam but also made it a useful exercise in rapid collaborative development under tight constraints.
